Moving forward, Arizona’s small business owners have one less worry. Now that this ill-conceived idea that was forwarded by out-of-state actors is finally dead, small business owners can focus on growing Arizona’s economy, creating jobs and caring for their employees without fear of this soul-crushing tax. “We look forward to Arizona’s policymakers now focusing on policies that grow Arizona’s economy and enable Arizona entrepreneurs to realize success. In 2021, small businesses contributed 72% of the net new jobs created in this state.
