CARSON CITY, Nev., Jan. 16, 2025—From Tray Abney, state director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in Nevada on Gov. Joe Lombardo’s State-of-the-State address last night.

“Nevada’s small business owners strongly support Governor Lombardo’s commitment to hold the line on taxes and ensure that our state remains a place that is welcoming to entrepreneurs and easy to set up shop and hire fellow Nevadans. We will also support advancing legislation to reduce the dollar threshold for felony theft. NFIB looks forward to working with the Governor and the Legislature this session as we fight to reduce burdensome regulations, health care and energy costs, and litigation threats.”
