Senator Pfaff said Senate Bill 463 “will give Wisconsin entrepreneurs the tools they need to start their business and will help our small businesses continue to innovate and evolve. Wisconsin’s economy thrives when our Main Streets thrive.” The clearinghouse would provide government contract bidding opportunities for small businesses, information about public and private economic development programs of interest to small business, webinar invitations, networking opportunities, and other events that encourage the establishment, development, and expansion of small businesses. State and local licensing and permit requirements and information to assist small businesses with taxes, fees, assessments, or other charges imposed by state or local government. Representative Vining said, “it’s clear that Wisconsin is a small business state and rising entrepreneurs need cutting edge digital tools to help them stay competitive, now more than ever. Senate Bill 463 has been referred to the Senate Committee on Insurance and Small Business.
