Rhode Island Small Businesses Endorse Allan Fung

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Aug. 15, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Allan Fung for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District.

“Allan Fung will be a strong advocate for Rhode Island’s small businesses,” said Christopher Carlozzi, NFIB Rhode Island State Director. “As the former mayor of Cranston, he has supported pro-small business policies and has committed to focusing on issues impacting small businesses in Congress such as combating inflation, stopping out-of-control spending from the federal government, and ensuring that the nation’s workforce is properly trained. Small businesses need reliable voices in Congress, and we are confident that Allan Fung will be one.”

“We are pleased to endorse Allan Fung today,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He grew up working in his family’s small businesses and understands the challenges our members face every day. We look forward to working with him.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
