OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 9, 2023) – Upon the inauguration of Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, NFIB State Director Jerrod Shouse issued the following statement: “As the engine that drives Oklahoma’s economy, small businesses are excited about Governor Stitt’s second term. From passing needed tax relief to ensuring local job creators could keep their doors open during the pandemic, Governor Stitt has demonstrated he understands the challenges Main Street faces. When the Legislature gavels into session next month, we look forward to working with the Governor and lawmakers on policies that allow our small businesses to grow and create good-paying jobs for working Oklahomans.”
