Gov. DeWine appointed Husted to the vacated U.S. Senate seat

NFIB Ohio State Director Chris Ferruso issued the below statement following Gov. DeWine’s appointment of Lt. Gov. Jon Husted to the U.S. Senate to fill the seat vacated by VP-elect Vance:

“Lt. Gov. Jon Husted understands the issues that are important to our members and will continue to be a strong advocate for them as our next U.S. Senator. Small businesses have benefited from his leadership in strengthening Ohio’s workforce development programs and his dedication to promoting job growth. During his time in the Ohio Legislature, he earned a 100% lifetime NFIB voting record throughout his 10 years of service. Ohio’s small businesses congratulate him on his appointment and look forward to continuing working with him.”
