The nation’s leading small-business association, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), today announced that Noah Finley is their new State Director in Illinois. Finley will be responsible for all aspects of the organization’s state advocacy, operations, political engagement, communications, and programming on behalf of NFIB’s thousands of members across the state.   “We are very pleased to have Noah Finley joining our team as State Director,” said Charles Owens, NFIB’s Region Director for the Midwest. “Noah comes to us from the Illinois State Senate where he was the former Deputy Chief of Staff. In his role there, he organized and led staff projects and policy development. Noah’s extensive experience in Springfield has positioned him well to be an effective advocate for our more than 10,0000 members in the state”.   In addition to his legislative experience, Finley worked with the Illinois Senate Republican Victory Fund as Political Staff and Campaign Manager during 2018. He interned with Congressman Mike Bost from 2016 to 2017 and he served in the Army from 2008 to 2012, including a tour of duty in Afghanistan. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Arts in International Relations and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from Geneva College in PA.   “As a small-town American, I have witnessed day-in and day-out the integral role of small and independent businesses in our communities,” said Finley. “I’m looking forward to working for an organization that represents these businesses and that highlights the critical role that they play in our state”.
