NFIB Utah’s Small Business Day a Big Success

NFIB Utah’s annual Small Business Day at the Capitol succeeded in what it set out to do: bring NFIB’s small-business-owning members together with top legislative leaders for an informational exchange. Speaking at the February 7 event in the Senate Building of the State Capitol were:
  • Senate President Stuart Adams
  • House Speaker Brad Wilson
  • House Majority Leader Mike Schultz
  • Senate Majority Leader Evan Vickers
Issues discussed include tax reform, labor costs, and inflation. During the event, State Director Casey Hill presented Rep. Candice Pierucci a Guardian of Small Business Award for her pro-small-business voting record (photo below). Couldn’t make this year’s Small Business Day at the Capitol event? NFIB will host another next year and we’d love to see you there. The more people we have, the louder we speak, and the more legislators listen. NFIB Utah State Director Casey Hill presents Rep. Candice Pierucci with NFIB’s Guardian of Small Business award
