NFIB Names State Rep. Shane Lindauer a Guardian of Small Business
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 1, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Indiana’s leading small business advocacy organization, today presented its coveted Guardian of Small Business Award to state Rep. Shane Lindauer (HD – 63). The award is the most prestigious award that NFIB presents to legislators for their efforts to support small businesses.
“Rep. Lindauer is a proven supporter of Indiana’s small businesses, and we’re proud to name him a Guardian today,” said Natalie Robinson, NFIB Indiana State Director. “The small business community has managed challenge after challenge for the past few years, and it’s more important than ever to have small business advocates in the General Assembly. Rep. Lindauer has been one of those advocates for Main Street and earned a perfect small business voting record this term. Specifically, he was the only member of the House that stood up against House Bill 1385, a harmful healthcare bill that will raise rates on small businesses – he recognized a bad policy when he saw it and fought for small businesses until the very end. We know he will continue to support policies that strengthen small businesses and be a true Guardian of Small Business.”
Rep. Shane Lindauer represents all of Martin County and portions of Daviess, Dubois, and Pike counties.
“It’s an honor to receive the Guardian of Small Business Award,” said Rep. Lindauer. “Hoosier small businesses continue to recover from the incredible impacts of the pandemic, but their resiliency and grit is inspiring. I’ll continue to support cutting government regulations and building on Indiana’s reputation as a great state to start and grow a business.”
NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
