NFIB Louisiana PAC Backs 13 House Candidates in Second Round of Endorsements

The NFIB Louisiana PAC said today its second round of legislative endorsements includes 13 candidates running for seats in the state House of Representatives. Twelve of the 13 races are for open seats. The political action committee, which is comprised exclusively of NFIB members in Louisiana, previously endorsed 32 incumbents or House members running for seats in the Senate. The endorsements do not include the more than 60 incumbents running without opposition. “Our members support the candidates who support small business, and each of these 13 candidates has shown us they clearly understand the challenges facing Louisiana’s job creators when it comes to essential issues such as reducing taxes and improving the state’s business climate,” said NFIB State Director Dawn McVea. The NFIB Louisiana PAC’s endorsement is critical to the candidates’ campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for urging friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. The NFIB Louisiana PAC’s support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small business issues. Here is a list of endorsed candidates. All of the races are for open seats unless noted by an asterisk:  HOUSE  Michael Melerine (District 6)Patricia “Trish” Leleux (District 25)Chance Henry (District 42)“Josh” Carlson (District 43)Tehmi Chassion (District 44)Brach Myers (District 45)David Eaton (District 49) Jessica Domangue (District 53)John Wyble (District 75)Stephanie Hunter Berault (District 76)Vincent E.
