NFIB Georgia PAC Endorses Burt Jones for Lieutenant Governor

The NFIB Georgia PAC has said today it has endorsed Burt Jones for lieutenant governor. The political action committee is comprised solely of NFIB members.

The endorsement is based on Jones’s record and position on small business issues, NFIB State Director Nathan Humphrey said.

“Burt Jones has long been a strong voice for Georgia’s small businesses,” Humphrey said. “Burt Jones was always there for small business during his 10 years in the state Senate, taking the small business position on issues ranging from sensible regulations to COVID-19 liability protections. Burt is also an entrepreneur himself, so our members are confident he understands the challenges facing Main Street businesses and will encourage the Senate to create an environment where Georgia businesses can grow and continue to create jobs.

“On behalf of our small business members, I am proud to announce the NFIB Georgia PAC’s endorsement of Burt Jones for lieutenant governor.”

Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind Jones’s campaign. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to vote. NFIB will encourage its Georgia members to help turn out the powerful small business voting bloc on Election Day.
