New York State Survey on Remote & Hybrid Working: Understanding Employers’ Latest Plans

New York State is requesting feedback from the business community about their remote and hybrid work plans as the state moves beyond the pandemic. During the COVID pandemic, many businesses were mandated to close or were forced to transition to remote work, leaving office buildings and downtown corridors empty. As the shift to remote and hybrid work models continues to evolve, New York State is seeking to understand employers’ plans for the future. New York State has launched a new survey about the current approaches to remote/hybrid work, plans moving forward, and any associated operational changes such as hiring practices or changes in physical office space. Businesses are encouraged to complete the survey by Friday, July 22nd. Business responses will provide a full view of the continued extent of teleworking and its impacts on the New York’s state and local economy.
