New York Small Business Community Endorses Rep. Mike Lawler for Re-Election

ALBANY, N.Y. (Aug. 14, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Representative Mike Lawler for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent New York’s 17th Congressional District.

“Representative Mike Lawler is an ally for Main Street in Congress,” said Ashley Ranslow, NFIB New York State Director. “He has earned a 100% voting record with NFIB and is a cosponsor of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act, legislation to avoid a massive tax hike on a majority of America’s small businesses.?We are confident Rep. Lawler will continue working to strengthen the small business economy in New York’s 17th District, and we are proud to endorse him for re-election today.”

“Representative Mike Lawler is a proven advocate for New York’s small businesses,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “We are proud to endorse Rep. Lawler for re-election today and look forward to continuing to work with him on behalf of small businesses, their employees, and their communities.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
