Massachusetts Hiring Grant Program Closed Early

The registration process for the state grant program designed to offer businesses $4,000 per new hire ended early on April 20th due to the popularity of the program. This grant was revealed by the Baker administration to incentivize businesses to bring Massachusetts workers off of the unemployment rolls and back into the workforce. Of course, this proved difficult for many employers still struggling to find qualified applicants. The program will no longer accept new applicants as of April 20, 2022 at midnight, but for those businesses that pre-registered they can begin registering workers on April 25th.
