In 2013 the landmark case, NFIB v. Sebelius, the NFIB SmallBusiness Legal Center stood up when all the other business groups wouldn’t! Wewere ridiculed by big business groups and the “intellectual elite” for ourposition that the Constitution does not give Congress the authority to forceall of us to buy or do whatever it wants. At the end of the day, we secured five votes from the U.S. Supreme Court agreeing with our position.
