Invited speakers include the Democratic and Republican candidates for governor

Small Business Day at the Capital will be Tuesday, May 14, at the City Club Raleigh, 150 Fayetteville St.

Invited speakers include state Attorney General Josh Stein, the Democratic candidate for governor, and Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, the Republican candidate.

NFIB State Director Gregg Thompson said the agenda also includes updates on state and federal issues affecting Main Street businesses.

“We’re inviting legislative leaders and political candidates to talk about the small business issues winding their way through the General Assembly and what’s at stake for Main Street businesses in the November election,” Thompson said.
