Indiana Small Businesses Endorse Senator Todd Young and Jennifer-Ruth Green

CHESTERTON, Ind. (Aug. 22, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Senator Todd Young for re-election to the United States Senate and Jennifer-Ruth Green for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Indiana’s 1st Congressional District. The endorsement was announced today at a campaign event held at NFIB member small business Joe’s Bread in Chesterton. Additional events were held at NFIB member Loren King’s business Trinitas Ventures in Lafayette, and the last stop of the day was at Afterburner Brewery Company in Terre Haute, co-owned by NFIB member John Null.

“Indiana’s small business community needs pro-small business Members of Congress, especially after the difficult few years they’ve been through,” said Natalie Robinson, NFIB Indiana State Director. “Senator Todd Young has been a steadfast advocate of small businesses during his time in Congress, maintaining a strong voting record and earning NFIB’s Guardian of Small Business award in all his terms. We are confident Jennifer-Ruth Green will be a valuable small business supporter in the U.S. House. They both have committed to focusing on small business issues such as inflation, workforce shortages, and supply chain disruptions and to oppose any new taxes or mandates on small businesses. Indiana’s small businesses will benefit with them in Congress.”

“We are proud to endorse Senator Todd Young and Jennifer-Ruth Green today,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “They will be dependable voices for small business in Congress and we look forward to working with them.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
