Impacts of CARB on Your Business

NFIB needs your help in telling your story of how the California Air Resources Board’s 2022 Climate Scoping Plan will affect your business.

To be brief, the Scoping Plan will:

  • Risk California’s food security by asking farmers to rely on a grid that is prone to blackouts and power outages

  • Disproportionally impact rural and inland communities who lack infrastructure and charging stations

  • Create inequities because it will increase costs for utilities, food, and other necessities.
