Guest Editorial: Five Things the Legislature Got Right

“The condition of the small-business economy is in a lot better shape in Utah’s compared to other parts of the nation, and it’s going to improve at an even faster rate this year thanks to positive actions taken by the Utah State Legislature during the 2022 session.”

So wrote NFIB Utah State Director Casey Hill in a guest editorial that was published by the Standard-Examiner and its sister publication, the Daily Herald.

“There is a reason Utah consistently ranks near the top of the best places to do business. Our legislature understands that the engine of the state economy is small business, and small business depends on limited regulation and low taxes. Our legislature deserves credit for once again proving they understand the importance of small businesses to the Utah economy, and the actions taken this year will help Utah remain an economic leader in our nation.”
