Florida’s Small Business Community Endorses Mike Haridopolos for Election to Congress

NFIB endorses Mike Haridopolos for election to the U.S. House of Representatives

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Oct. 4, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Mike Haridopolos for election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Florida’s 8th Congressional District.

“Mike Haridopolos has a long history of supporting pro-small business policies in the Florida legislature,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB Florida Executive Director. “As a small business owner himself, he is intimately aware of the impact over-regulation and burdensome taxes can have on Main Street businesses. If elected to Congress, Haridopolos will continue to be a champion for Florida’s small businesses, and we look forward to working with him.”

“Mike Haridopolos is a strong pro-small business candidate,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He understands the priorities of Main Street owners in his district and supports important small business policies, such as making the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent. We are confident that Mike Haridopolos will be an ally in Congress, and we are pleased to endorse him today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
