Did You Miss NFIB's Virtual Event on the Illinois Secure Choice Program? Here is the Recording.

On September 12, NFIB in Illinois hosted an informative webinar to help members learn more about what the Illinois Secure Choice program means for small businesses in the Prairie State. Illinois law required that employers with 16 or more Illinois employees and that have been in business for at least two years had to offer their own retirement plan or facilitate Illinois Secure Choice by November 1, 2022. The threshold will be lowered to five or more employees on November 1, 2023. NFIB has Illinois partnered with the Illinois Secure Choice program, its Executive Director Christine Cheng, as well as Jaimee Niles, Ascensus representative for the program, to educate small businesses on how to comply with this mandate.
