On February 21, NFIB Rhode Island hosted an informative virtual event for members, “Rhode Island Small Business Legislation.” State Director Chris Carlozzi led the discussion and reviewed legislation currently being considered in the House and Senate in Providence that could increase the regulatory and tax burdens on small businesses and impact how you run your business. The efficient half-hour program covered developments in state tax and budget issues, labor mandates, energy costs and environmental policy, and healthcare costs.
