“The governor’s call for more grant dollars will help many struggling mom-and-pop businesses that have used up their PPP loans and have no other recourse as a lifeline. His proposal to waive fees will also help many Main Street industries, including barbershops, bars, and bistros, avoid hefty renewal and operational costs during this terrible crisis.

“Expanding the Main Street Hiring Tax Credit will help our small employers to recruit and retain workers and get people back on the job with paychecks so they can feed their families. We look forward to working with the governor and call upon all Capitol policymakers to maintain this momentum by providing our No. 1 job creators the funding, direction, and support they desperately need to rebuild and survive.”
