75% of KY Legislators Achieve Perfect NFIB Voting Records

NFIB State Director Tom Underwood said today that 103 members of the General Assembly—28 senators and 75 representatives—achieved 100% NFIB Voting Records in the 2023-24 legislative session. “Kentucky’s economy is built on its small businesses, and this year’s voting record shows the vast majority of the commonwealth’s 138 legislators support the small business position on critical issues ranging from tax relief to broadband development,” Underwood said. “It’s this level of support that enables our small businesses to grow and create jobs in these uncertain economic times,” he said. The 2023-24 Voting Record includes seven key votes. Click here to see the full results and an explanation of the issues. Underwood said the NFIB Voting Record does not reflect every element lawmakers consider when voting, nor does it represent a complete profile of a legislator. It does not include committee actions that were helpful to small businesses.
