69 Iowa Legislators Achieve a 100% Voting Record from NFIB

NFIB Iowa announced today that 69 state legislators — 28 members of the Senate and 41 members of the House — achieved a 100% NFIB Voting Record in the 2023-24 session.

“These legislators know that small businesses are the backbone of the Hawkeye state. If they want Iowa to be successful then they must support Main Street,” said NFIB State Director Matt Everson. “I applaud these pro-small business legislators for prioritizing policies that allow Iowans to own, operate, and grow their businesses.”

The 2023-24 NFIB Voting Record does not reflect every element considered by lawmakers when voting, nor does it represent a complete profile of the legislators. The voting record includes ten key votes in both chambers on issues important to small businesses including tax relief, lawsuit reform, and regulations. It does not factor in that many of these legislators supported small businesses in committees, as well.
