30 Arizona Legislators Earned 100% Voting Records on Small Business Issues

PHOENIX (July 15, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, announced today that 30 Arizona lawmakers, including 16 members of the Senate and 14 members of the House of Representatives, earned 100 percent NFIB voting records during the 56th Legislative Session. In a statement, NFIB State Director Chad Heinrich commended these 30 lawmakers for siding with small business owners on issues ranging from regulatory relief to defeating costly mandates. “Our State Legislature considers thousands of issues with numerous influences. It’s critically important that lawmakers take the time to understand the issues Main Street faces. As inflation continues to pose a serious challenge, our members are grateful to the lawmakers who stood resolute against all policy proposals that would have driven up the cost of doing business in our state.” The NFIB Voting Record does not reflect every element considered by a legislator when voting or represent a complete profile of the lawmaker. NFIB’s 2024 Voting Record included seven key votes on regulatory relief, tax relief, property owners’ rights, judicial reform, and workforce development.
