12 Legislative Candidates Earn NFIB Kansas PAC Endorsements

The NFIB Kansas PAC said today it has endorsed 12 candidates for seats in the Kansas House in the Aug. 2 primary election. The political action committee is comprised exclusively of NFIB members. “Small business is what powers Kansas’s economy, and it’s essential that we elect candidates who will do everything they can to create and maintain an environment that allows local businesses to grow and create jobs,” NFIB State Director Dan Murray said. “It’s especially important today when small, independent businesses are contending with soaring inflation, supply chain disruptions, and a lack of workers.” Early voting in the Aug. 2 primary ends at noon on Monday, Aug. 1. The general election is on Tuesday, November 8. The NFIB Kansas PAC’s endorsement is important to these campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on key small-business issues. House endorsements District, Name 64, Suzi Carlson 70, John E. Barker 76, Eric L. Smith 79, Cheryl Helmer 101, Joe Seiwert 107, Susan L. Concannon 109, Troy L. Waymaster 113, Brett Fairchild 118, Jim Minnix 119, Bradley Ralph 122, William Clifford 123, John P. Wheeler Jr.
