NFIB Names Beth Milito as Executive Director of NFIB Small Business Legal Center

Milito promoted from NFIB’s Senior Executive Counsel

Washington, D.C. (Sept. 22, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, announced the promotion of Beth Milito to Executive Director of NFIB’s Small Business Legal Center.

Milito has been with NFIB for 18 years as NFIB’s Senior Executive Counsel. During her time at NFIB, she has testified before the U.S. Congress and state legislatures on a broad range of labor issues. Milito worked closely with NFIB’s Research Center to produce the NFIB’s COVID-19 weekly webinar series.

“We are very pleased to announce Beth Milito’s promotion to Executive Director of NFIB’s Small Business Legal Center,” said Brad Close, NFIB President and CEO. “Beth’s leadership of the Center will ensure that America’s small and independent businesses continue to have a valuable resource for education on important legal issues and a strong and influential voice in state and federal courts.”

Milito is an experienced litigator and educator, having worked at the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs representing hospital management in labor, employment, guardianship, and commitment matters in federal agencies and courts.
