Did You Miss These Two Mandatory Deadlines?

NFIB Colorado is hearing many small-business owners are still unaware of two mandatory requirements the state is demanding of them.
  • All employers must have registered for the new, voter-approved Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI) by May 31. Learn more here if you haven’t. And for additional information, check out this NFIB webinar on the issue.
  • Also, employers with five or more employees are now required to enroll in the SecureSavings Program if they do not currently offer their employees a retirement plan. Learn more here if you haven’t. And for additional information, check out this NFIB webinar on the issue.
Small-business owners are the busiest people in the nation, so it’s quite natural in all the bureaucratic compliance required of them that a few deadlines are missed. Double-check to see if you’ve complied with FAMLI and SecureSavings.
