Did You Miss These Two Mandatory Deadlines?

NFIB Colorado is hearing many small-business owners are still unaware of two mandatory requirements the state is demanding of them.

All employers must have registered for the new, voter-approved Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI) by May 31. Learn more here if you haven’t. And for additional information, check out this NFIB webinar on the issue.

Also, employers with five or more employees are now required to enroll in the SecureSavings Program if they do not currently offer their employees a retirement plan. Learn more here if you haven’t. And for additional information, check out this NFIB webinar on the issue.

Small-business owners are the busiest people in the nation, so it’s quite natural in all the bureaucratic compliance required of them that a few deadlines are missed. Double-check to see if you’ve complied with FAMLI and SecureSavings.
