VA retail store owner helps listeners understand small business perspective
Last night Virginia State Director Nicole Riley and NFIB member Tina Miller, who owns Walkabout Outfitter shops in the state with her husband, appeared on BBC’s Business Matters radio program which airs internationally. The topic was to discuss a $15 minimum wage which is part of President Biden’s stimulus proposal, and how that might impact small businesses. Offering a different perspective on the program was a representative who advocates for workers.

NFIB not only advocates for our members in the state Capitol but also makes sure our message gets out to the public through the media. Thank you to our members who have alerted us to your concerns so we are aware of them. And, we also appreciate those members who are willing to speak out publicly on those issues.
