34 TX Legislative Candidates Earn Small Business Endorsement

The NFIB Texas PAC today endorsed candidates in four state Senate and 30 House races. The political action committee is comprised exclusively of NFIB members. “Small business is the cornerstone of the state’s economy,” NFIB State Director Annie Spilman said. “These candidates understand the challenges our members are facing and will advocate for lower taxes and sensible regulations and be strong advocates for policies that enable our small businesses to rebound from the COVID-19 shutdown.” The NFIB Texas PAC’s endorsement is important to these campaigns. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB has pledged it will activate its grassroots network on behalf of these campaigns. NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small-business issues.
