The May 7 program will explain the implications of new legislation on small businesses

The state Department of Revenue will host a free webinar on new franchise tax legislation at 10 a.m. EDT/9 a.m. CDT on May 7.

The agenda will focus on Schedule G franchise tax refunds and the implications of House Bill 1893. Revenue Department staff will explain how the legislation will remove the franchise property measure and create statutory provisions for taxpayer refunds.
