NFIB State Director Gregg Thompson was a guest recently on “Viewpoints with Lockwood Phillips” on WTKF-107.1 FM in Morehead City.
Thompson talked with Phillips about the small business climate in North Carolina. “I’m hearing a lot of concern about rising prices and inflation and how it’s going to impact their bottom line,” Thompson said. “Prices have not gone down, they’ve gone up. And wages have gone up. The worker shortage is the number one issue among small businesses, that and inflation. And with gas prices rising… For small business owners, there’s not a large margin of capital.”
