The board develops plans and policies for local workforce efforts throughout the commonwealth
Gov. Glenn Youngkin has appointed NFIB Virginia Leadership Council member Cheryl Spraberry to the Virginia Board of Workforce Development.
Spraberry is vice president of Advanced Integrated Technologies (AIT) & Surge Force, an NFIB member business in Virginia Beach.
Most of the board’s members represent businesses across the commonwealth and include representatives from labor and training providers as well as public sector leadership from local government, six cabinet secretaries, and four members of the General Assembly. In addition to the board’s own bylaws and strategic plan, it approves various plans, reports and policies to guide the local workforce efforts throughout the commonwealth. Click here to learn more.
