NFIB Concerned as Governor Murphy Advances Green Energy Goals with 2030 Timeline

NFIB is skeptical and concerned about the energy mandates that Governor Murphy announced this week. The 2030 timeline for electrification of buildings and the goal of all carbon-free new vehicles by 2035 will have significant cost ramifications for every New Jersey business. NFIB will continue to monitor Senate Bill 2978, which is the vehicle to implement these proposed changes to the state’s energy master plan.
