Liz Murrill Earns Coveted Small Business Endorsement for Attorney General

Date: November 08, 2023

Election Day is Nov. 18

NFIB State Director Dawn McVea said today that the NFIB Louisiana PAC has endorsed Liz Murrill for attorney general in the Nov. 18 election. The political action committee is comprised solely of NFIB small business members in Louisiana. Early voting is underway until Saturday.

“Liz Murrill has demonstrated her commitment to the rule of law and Louisiana job creators,” McVea said. “She understands the challenges our small business owners face. While serving as Solicitor General, Liz Murrill protected Main Street from onerous mandates and helped employers navigate the many challenges that arose from the COVID-19 pandemic. As attorney general, Liz Murrill will be a strong voice for small business owners.

“On behalf of our small business members, the NFIB Louisiana PAC is proud to endorse Liz Murrill for state Attorney General,” McVea said.

Murrill said, “I am honored to have the support of the National Federation of Independent Business Louisiana PAC. Louisiana is made great by the many locally owned, small businesses. As attorney general, I will foster a legal climate that allows small businesses to thrive, protecting them from harmful federal policies. I look forward to being an advocate for the small business owners of Louisiana as their next attorney general.”

Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind Murrill’s campaign. Small business owners and their employees vote in large numbers and make a point of recruiting other entrepreneurs, friends, and family members to support the small-business candidate.
