NFIB Georgia PAC Endorses Gov. Brian Kemp for 2nd Term

The NFIB Georgia PAC has endorsed Brian Kemp in the May 24 primary for a second term as governor. The political action committee is comprised solely of NFIB members.

The endorsement is based on Kemp’s record and position on small business issues, NFIB State Director Nathan Humphrey said.

“From Day One of his administration, Governor Kemp has been a tireless supporter of Georgia’s small businesses,” Humphrey said. “During the pandemic, Governor Kemp fought to keep Georgia’s economy open while other states were forcing small businesses to close. His leadership protected both lives and livelihoods, brought record jobs to Georgia, and resulted in the largest income tax cut in state history.

“Governor Kemp has been a small business owner and a proud member of NFIB, and he understands the challenges facing our members,” Humphrey said. “Governor Kemp has shown us time and again that he’s willing to make the tough decisions essential to making Georgia a great state for small business.

“On behalf of our small business members, I am proud to announce the NFIB Georgia PAC’s endorsement of Gov. Brian Kemp.”

Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind the governor’s campaign. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to vote. NFIB will encourage its Georgia members to help turn out the powerful small-business voting bloc on Election Day.
