NFIB Releases 2022 FL Legislative Agenda

COVID-19 protections, tax relief, lawsuit reform, and sensible regulations top NFIB’s Florida legislative agenda for 2022

“These are trying times for Florida’s small businesses, and we need Tallahassee to support legislation that eases the financial pressure on the state’s job creators and allows them to recover quickly and completely from the economic slump caused by the pandemic,” NFIB State Executive Director Bill Herrle said.

NFIB supports legislation that would renew COVID-19 liability protections for health care workers, eliminate Florida’s onerous business rent tax, and require plaintiffs to inform defendants if their lawsuit is funded by a third-party financing contract.
