Small Business Endorses Regan Deering for Congress

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (Sept. 23, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Regan Deering for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Illinois’ 13th Congressional District. The endorsement was announced at a campaign event hosted at NFIB member small business Cozy Dog Drive In in Springfield.

“Regan Deering personally understands the challenges of owning a small business and the harm that burdensome government regulations can inflict,” said Chris Davis, NFIB Illinois State Director. “I look forward to working with Regan Deering to protect and grow small businesses across Illinois. I’m confident that her experience will serve her constituents and our members well.”

“As a former small business owner, I have felt the heavy tax and regulatory burden that the government is forcing our entrepreneurs to carry,” said Deering. “I am proud to be endorsed by my fellow innovators and job creators and will honor their support by fighting to reduce inflation, lower taxes, and create more economic opportunities for our small business owners when elected to Congress.”

“As a former small business owner, Regan Deering understands that small businesses are the backbone of the economy,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “We are confident that she will be a strong advocate for Illinois’ small businesses and will be a pro-small business vote in Congress. We are pleased to endorse her today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
