NFIB Endorses Utah Congressional Candidates for Re-Election

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (June 2, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed the following incumbents for re-election to the United States House of Representatives:
  • UT-01: Blake Moore
  • UT-02: Chris Stewart
  • UT-03: John Curtis
  • UT-04: Burgess Owens
“It is important for Utah’s small businesses to have strong representation in Congress,” said NFIB Utah State Director Casey Hill. “These candidates have proven to be pro-small business advocates by supporting policies that promote the small business economy and fight against onerous regulations and mandates. We look forward to continuing to work with them.” Reps. Chris Stewart and John Curtis received NFIB’s Guardian of Small Business Award during their time in Congress. Reps. Blake Moore, Chris Stewart, John Curtis, and Burgess Owens have each received a 100% NFIB voting record for the 117th Congress. “These candidates know the issues that impact Utah’s small business community,” said NFIB Senior National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “We know they will continue to support small businesses and are pleased to endorse them today.” The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
