NFIB Endorses Missouri Congressional Incumbents for Re-Election

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (July 12, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed the following Members of Congress for re-election to the United States House of Representatives:
  • MO-02: Ann Wagner
  • MO-03: Blaine Luetkemeyer
  • MO-06: Sam Graves
  • MO-08: Jason Smith
“Missouri’s small business owners know the importance of having pro-small business advocates in Congress and these Members of Congress have proven their support,” said Brad Jones, NFIB Missouri State Director. “We are confident that they will continue to support legislation that promotes growing the economy and oppose policies that will increase taxes and regulations on Missouri’s small businesses. We look forward to continuing to work with them.” Each candidate listed has earned a 100% NFIB voting record for the 117th Congress. Rep. Wagner grew up working in her parent’s small business in Manchester. Rep. Luetkemeyer is a former small business owner and the lead Republican on the Small Business Committee. Rep. Graves is a sixth-generation family farmer and small business owner. Rep. Smith, a fourth-generation owner of the family farm, is the lead sponsor of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act, and the Death Tax Repeal Act. “NFIB is proud to endorse these incumbents to continue to serve Missouri in the U.S. House of Representatives,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “Small businesses need strong supporters in Congress now more than ever and we’re certain this group will continue to be strong advocates.” The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
