Illinois Small Business Community Endorses Esther Joy King

ROCKFORD, Ill. (Sept. 19, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Esther Joy King for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Illinois’ 17th Congressional District. The endorsement was announced at a campaign event held at NFIB member business Benson Stone Company in Rockford.

“Esther Joy King intimately understands the challenges faced every day by small business owners,” said Chris Davis, NFIB Illinois State Director. “She knows the burden that government regulations and mandates have on small businesses, and I am confident that she will work to protect and enhance Illinois’ small businesses.”

“We know Esther Joy King will be a pro-small business Member of Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “She has committed to supporting policies that will strengthen the small business economy and we look forward to working with her in Washington.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
