New York State Announces Rapid Testing Program

As New York State begins to lift business restrictions, the state has announced a new public-private partnership to expand rapid testing sites. The New York Forward Rapid Test Program will provide New Yorkers with access to low-cost COVID-19 rapid tests. The sites will follow all safety protocols and COVID-19 test results will be available within 30 minutes. The tests will be available to everyone at no more than $30.

To receive a rapid test, New Yorkers cannot have COVID-related symptoms, have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 in the last 10 days, have received a COVID-19 positive test result in the past 10 days, or be subject to an order of quarantine.

All New Yorkers can make an appointment at sites, including CVS, Clarity MedHealth, and Quest Diagnostics. For more information on rapid testing, click here.
