More Aid Available for Iowa Small Business Owners

Gov. Kim Reynolds is making $40 million in aid available to help restaurants and bars get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Businesses that lost sales in the second and third quarters of last year, compared to the year before, are eligible to apply for the grants.

Up to $25,000 per business will be available. The money is designed to help restaurants with short-term cash flow.

The application period for the grant program runs from Feb. 1 through Feb. 15.
