In the past two years, Arkansas lawmakers have passed four tax cuts.

Did You Hear? You Got Another Tax Cut

Last month, lawmakers passed another round of tax cuts. In less than two years, Governor Huckabee Sanders and the General Assembly have cut taxes four times, demonstrating a real commitment to lowering the tax burden of hardworking Arkansans.
Here’s what you need to know:
  • The top individual income rate was cut from 4.4 percent to 3.9 percent.
  • The top corporate income rate was cut from 4.8 percent to 4.3 percent.
After lawmakers sent the tax cuts package to Governor Huckabee Sanders, NFIB State Director Katie Burns applauded the relief as getting us “one step closer” to a fully phased-out state income tax.
