Alabama's Small Businesses Were Big Winners on Election Day

Nearly all of the candidates endorsed by the NFIB Alabama PAC won on Election Day. The list of winners endorsed by the political action committee includes Gov. Kay Ivey, Lt. Gov. Will Ainsworth, Attorney General Steve Marshall, and Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries Rick Pate. In addition, 98% of the legislative candidates endorsed by the NFIB Alabama PAC were elected or reelected on Nov. 8. “Small businesses were the real winners in this year’s election,” NFIB State Director Rosemary Elebash said. “Our members helped elect the candidates who understand the issues facing Alabama’s small businesses. We’re looking forward to working with our elected leaders to create and maintain an environment that allows our members to own, operate, and grow their businesses.”
