A few perennial issues and some that cropped up last session expected to make return engagements
Expect many of the issues debated but not passed last year to make a return engagement this year. They include a few perennials that will always be with us, and NFIB will always be there for the fight.
- Giving local governments the right to levy their own sales taxes
- Allowing counties and municipalities to establish their own minimum-wage rates
- Extending the sales tax to include services
Supporters of a few new issues that surfaced in 2023 are expected to give it another try in 2024.
