The upcoming midterm elections on Nov. 8 are important for small business. Thanks to NFIB, small business owners have resources available that make it easy to go to the ballot box with the best information on which candidates will support pro-small business policies. NFIB has created member-exclusive Voter Guides as resources to find state-specific voting information such as early voting dates, polling locations, and our 2022 Political Action Committee (PAC)-endorsed candidates.

NFIB’s Voter Guide is the most comprehensive resource you’ll need to be the voice of small business on Nov. 8. NFIB members have made clear the challenges they are continuing to face. On top of inflation, supply chain disruptions, staffing shortages, and high gas prices make the possibility of future tax increases and regulations an even more critical threat.

“Small business owners are facing significant headwinds – inflation, supply chain disruptions, a lack of qualified job applicants, and elected officials in the states and Washington, D.C. that seem to think small businesses are the problem,” explained Brad Close, NFIB President. “Small businesses need strong advocates who fight for them in state legislatures, governor’s mansions, and Congress.”

NFIB has created state-specific Voter Guides for our members to have easy access to registration dates, early voting deadlines, polling place details, and a list of NFIB’s endorsed candidates all in one place. NFIB members will receive a Voter Guide in the mail and can also log into their account at NFIB.com/VoterGuide to access these guides online.

Now, it is more important than ever to know which candidates you can count on to support small business policies in the future. Make sure you are registered and ready to be the voice of small business this election season by learning which candidates are pro-small business. Look at the Voter Guide today and prepare to vote early or on Nov. 8.
