96 Tennessee Legislators Achieve 100% NFIB Voting Records

The NFIB Tennessee Voting Record shows where lawmakers stood on key issues

NFIB State Director Jim Brown today said that 96 state legislators — 26 members of the Senate and 70 members of the House — achieved a 100 percent NFIB Voting Record in the 2025-2026 legislative session.

“The Tennessee legislature continues to promote many policies that are beneficial to small business,” Brown said. “In the 114th General Assembly, most legislators voted for significant tax, labor, and regulatory reforms that will help small businesses grow, add jobs, and invest in their employees and communities.”

Brown said the NFIB Voting Record does not reflect every element considered by a lawmaker when voting, nor does it represent a complete profile of a legislator. The 2025-2026 Voting Record includes seven key votes in both chambers of the legislature on issues important to small businesses. It does not factor in that many of these legislators were helpful to small business in committees.
