The event gave small business owners to engage with elected officials

NFIB members from Louisiana and across the country traveled to Washington this week to participate in the NFIB D.C. Fly-In.
The annual event gives small business owners the chance to learn more about what’s happening in Congress and speak out about the issues affeting their ability to own, operate and grow their businesses.
“On behalf of our members, I want to thank Speaker Steve Scalise, Rep. Troy Carter and every congressional leader for taking the time to meet with us and discuss the issues facing Louisiana’s ob creators,” NFIB State Director Leah Long said.
“Louisiana’s economy is built on its small businesses, and events like the Fly-In help the voice of small businesses be heard.”
NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
